A
combo interface is a logical interface that comprises one fiber port and one copper port. The two ports
share one interface view and cannot work simultaneously. When you enable either port, the other port is
automatically disabled. You can activate either port as needed. The default operatin

port is the copper
port.
Switching fabric modules
CAUTION:
The switching fabric modules for M9000 gateways provide a console port for the H3C technical suppor
t
staff to maintain the gateways. Do not use the console port if you have not been trained for that.
The switching fabric modules are the core of the switching plane of the M9000 security gateway. Table
19 describes the compatibility matrix between the M9000 gateways and switching fabric module
models. You can install up to four switching fabric modules in one M9000 security gateway.

Power modules
The gateway supports power modules of models LSUM2AC2500 and LSUM1DC2400. An
LSUM2AC2500 power module is an AC-input, DC-output power module that provides a maximum DC
output power of 2500 W. An LSUM1DC2400 power module is a DC-input, DC-output power module
that provides a maximum DC output power of 2400 W.
