Enabling DSA-TAG field parsing
The host device can use the DSA-TAG field to indicate special information, such as inbound and
outbound port numbers. The SecBlade NetStream card can collect statistics based on the inbound or
outbound port by parsing the DSA-TAG field of mirrored packets.
This feature is effective only for SecBlade NetStream cards on S9500E and S12500 switches.
To enable this function, you must configure the switch to ensure that packets mirrored to the SecBlade
NetStream card carry dsa-tags.
Follow these steps to enable DSA-TAG field parsing:
To do… Use the command…
Remarks
Enter system view system-view
Enter interface view interface ten-gigabitethernet 0/0
Enable DSA-TAG field
parsing
dsa-tag switch
Optional
By default, DSA-TAG field parsing is
disabled.
