statistics table, and thus the administrator can view the statistics on packets received on the interface at
any time.

# Configure RMON to gather statistics for interface GigabitEthernet 0/1.

After the above configuration, the system gathers statistics on packets received on GigabitEthernet 0/1.
To view the statistics of the interface:
• Execute the display command.
