Connecting a DC power cord

1. Identify the plug for connecting to the L1000-A, correctly orient the plug with the RPS receptacle

on the L1000-A chassis, and insert the plug into the receptacle.

2. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to fasten the screws on the plug.

3. Connect the other end of the DC power cord to the DC power source.

Verifying the installation

To ensure normal operation of the L1000-A, verify the following items before you power on the

L1000-A:

• There is enough space for heat dissipation around the L1000-A.

• The grounding cable is securely connected.

• The correct power source is used.
